Twitter down today? Yup, so of course the social media addicts head on over to Facebook (Facebook), which is experiencing outages of its own, although fortunately less frequent ones. Mashable (Mashable) staff are experiencing everything from “Network Errors” (below) to a good percentage of pages simply failing to load. Mashable commenters add that they’re also struggling with Facebook, the likely cause being a flood of Twitter (Twitter) traffic hitting the site. Twitter down and Facebook running ridiculously slow...in the world where we all rely so heavily on social media what's a girl to do when her favorite sites go down? Thankfully my MOST favorite site Gather is still up and running which allows me to let you all know about the problems with those other crazy sites. How affected are you when your favorite sites go down? Does it make you realize how much you rely on them? Does anyone know what's wrong with Twitter and Facebook by the way?
